Neka Museum In Bali Indonesia

Neka Museum was founded by Suteja Neka, an art collector of Bali, in 1976. The museum has many excellent art collection and a variety of nicely displayed to visitors. Neka Museum is the best place to study the development of Balinese painting.
Neka Museum has several rooms, including rooms that showcase paintings by local artists are heavily influenced by the artistic shadow puppets. In another part of the museum there is a collection of paintings from young artists who studied at various art schools in Bali, while at the pavilion Lempad exhibited various paintings by artist I Gusti Nyoman Lempad.
Neka Musuem also has a collection of paintings from outside Bali and some of them had worked in Bali, among others, works of painting of Abdul Aziz, Affandi, Dullan, and Aton Kustia Wijaya. All the paintings are stored in a room that is named Room Contemporary Indonesian Art.
On the top floor of the museum there is a collection of paintings by foreign painters such as Louise Koke, Miguel Covarrubias, Rudolph Bonnet, Donald Fiebd, Han Snel and Antonio Blanco.
